Heron Island Survey

Heron Island is a natural coral cay found 89kms off the coast of Queensland. It’s an island resort on the Great Barrier Reef which means that if you are lucky enough to visit the island, the reef is literally on your doorstep. We spent a lot of time on one particular site called the Heron Bommie, the Bommie is a fantastic dive site made favoured by the one and only Jacques Cousteau. The Catlin Seaview Survey is proud to be able to name Heron Island as a location partner of the project. It truly is an amazing place to visit and dive.
