Revealing the Galapagos

The Galapagos Islands are one of the most biologically diverse and unique places on the planet. It has been 178 years since Charles Darwin discovered the volcanic archipelago and to celebrate, our project partner Google asked us to help them reveal this incredible area to the world.

Working with fantastic local scientific institutions, the Galapagos National Park Service and the Charles Darwin Foundation we dived the same waters that Darwin sailed all those years ago.

Watch a great video of the work that we did with Google and all of the local partners.

Go behind the scenes in a new feature that Google Maps launched following our collaboration.
