Christopher has a passion for the water. After growing up on Tasmania’s North Coast he moved to the tropics to complete a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology – Advanced at James Cook University. Christopher developed a strong interest in box jellyfish after a nasty incident saw him airlifted to hospital with Irukandji Syndrome. This led to completing his Honours and PhD research in box jellyfish ecology, also at James Cook University. As a fully qualified and experienced diver, Christopher is able to support all scientific and technical aspects of the expeditions. He is excited to be able to document the current state of our reefs, and to share the imagery with those who aren’t lucky enough to experience it for themselves.
